GROUP MANAGING DIRECTOR
Y.Bhg. Tan Sri Datuk Abdul Razak Latiff
Y.Bhg. Tan Sri Datuk Abdul Razak Latiff is the founder of ARL Group of Companies. In his capacity as Group Managing Director, he is instrumental for the success and growth of ARL Global Group of Companies. With his accumulated experience he ventured out on his own and established ARL Associates Sdn.Bhd. in 1991 as an outfit to market his business skills. In June 1994 he secured a privatization project to develop a 50 MW IPP Power Plant at Melawa, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. The project was developed on a Build-Own-Operate (BOO) basis. Later he established a new subsidiary, ARL Janakuasa Letrik Sdn.Bhd to operate and maintain the plan. Although coming from a non-technical background, he has developed the ability to combine strategic business planning with an empirical approach in analysis. Over the years he has developed his own business philosophy and values, which he fervently applies to the Group’s business dealings and simply states, "Do things in moderation and don’t profit on people’s misery". |
